Jennifer Shacklet from Literature is Lit dropped off this bookcase and the books to fill it on Halloween. The books are for pre-readers, which is a big request we get from our moms. We love book donations!

When we got an email a few months ago from a teenager asking if we need books for our pantry clients, we were pleasantly surprised. She not only took on the project, she has expanded it and is now passing on the results of grants in the form of bookcases and new books purchased to meet specific needs. And her friends have joined her, making this so much more than the school project that started her on this path.
