Thanks to donations from groups and individuals we met the needs of an exponential increase in clients during the fall 2025 federal shutdown and political mess

In addition to their regular monthly donation of food, they took up a special collection for the purchase of bladder control and feminine hygiene products for us. The donation filled the bed and the inside passenger areas of this truck which was needed to get it all to us.

The above is all we are able to get the first week of November from our government sources. FRUIT isn't exactly a balance diet! We just heard (on Saturday afternoon 10/25/25) that the state budget passed the Senate, but needs to now go before the House to be approved. The Senate put it through with a 5 % reduction. Even if it passes the House, we are looking at the end of November before the funds go to our government provider, so they can purchase food and get the food to u
