No Kings starts off the Fall Food Drive Season!
Where would we be without groups willing to do food drives for us? No Kings Springfield held our first fall food drive. We are ever so grateful that they have chosen our pantry to support! By the time they finished, not only the truck bed, but all the space available inside this four-door pickup was filled . . . 550 lbs worth! Considering this was Labor Day weekend, that's pretty amazing. We all thought people would be too busy to think of us. Our gratitude extends to the entire community who take the time and their hard-earned money to support food needs. And especially to No Kings, who thought of supporting causes other than their own. That's community.
