We want to give a shout out to Shane Loeffler, Swarthmore College Men's Basketball coach for his hard work again this year, not just with doing a fine job at what he does, but also for his commitment to help his team make a difference in the community around them. We at Lifewerks appreciate that Shane and the team not only give of their time to run this clinic, but go the extra mile to add donations to a local nonprofit a part of the experience, for players and participants alike. This is the amount of food the team was able to collect from their program to teach kids basketball skills on Martin Luther King day this year. The 65 participating local kids and families managed to collect all these bags full of food for Hoops for Hunger! That's a lot! It added up to 287 pounds of food, with a value of $500.
