Isn't it beautiful?
It was my hope to have a welcoming garden gate to our food pantry garden. I'm an artist before I'm a gardener. (Waaaay before.) So, aesthetics are important.
Vegetable gardens can become rather unsightly at certain times, so to encourage the goodwill of the neighbors, a nice gate with flowers was just the thing.
Many thanks to Church on the Boulevard from Akron, Ohio for getting the posts and lintel up and the donated wrought iron gates attached. It wasn't an easy job!
